  • To renew your Real Estate License in the state of Alaska, you are required to complete 20 hours of continuing education.
  • Eight hours must be core curriculum that is approved by the Commission. Twelve hours can be in elective topics that meet the requirements designated by the Commission.
  • Real Estate Licenses expire on January 31 of even numbered years regardless of when issued. Licenses issued within 90 days of the expiration date will be issued to the next biennium.
  • Continuing Education must be complete prior to expiration. There is no grace period to practice on a lapsed license.
